LEGAL ISSUES
Issues:
- Sima is 16 years old (minor) – no capacity to consent
- Require consent from parents (appropriate substitute decision-maker) for any administration of care and treatment.
- Muslim – no unnecessary skin contact between males and females
Exceptions:
- emergency situations
- Doctrine of Necessity


ETHICAL ISSUES
Issues:
- Underage (unlawful to take advantage of her doubtfulness) – explain thoroughly of any procedures done on Sima.
- If she dies, being a Muslim, her body must be kept in a separate morgue for Muslims only and post mortem must only done by a Muslim.
